DIY   Are you good at DIY?  Offer your services.  Notices advertising your services can often be put up free of charge.  Tell your friends to tell their friends.  Hand out leaflets and advertise on the internet.  If you feel you need some training to bring you up to a professional standard then attend a course at your local college.  Instead of going to the pub and spending money go and do a small job and earn some money, turn your finances around.  Bring money in instead of spending, a double saving.
